Tennessee's late-game win over Texas put a cramp in Andrew Bolte's and Josh Pearl's plans to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.

Bolte, who leads by just over 400 points, is now fully allocated and has no further games to play out. His opponent David Forman has one remaining pick: the Yale Bulldogs to upset the San Diego State Aztecs. Forman advances if Yale wins (Forman won in the first round on Yale, too). Bolte will still advance, meanwhile, if San Diego State wins.

Pearl, meanwhile, needs opponent Tyson Goss to lose his Oregon and Grand Canyon allocations in order to survive and advance. If either Oregon or Grand Canyon win, Tyson will advance. Oregon trailed Creighton by two at halftime at the time of this writing.

North Carolina State overtime win over Oakland all but guaranteed Jeff Lunsman a spot in the Sweet Sixteen. The loss (on Oakland) was Evan Miyazaki's third of the day, and with no further points allocated in the tournament, Jeff moves on with either a UConn or Purdue or Marquette victory.

Jeff will face the winner of Kyle Rekofke and tournament Cinderella, Shane Rima.

Meanwhile, Oakland's loss means 20th seed Mark Winters can only advance against Raymond Owono if Colorado beats Marquette tomorrow morning. Otherwise, Ray advances.

Casey "The 12-Stettler Program" missed the submission deadline, and therefore may require participation in his namesake program to recover his focus on pursuing a Robn championship from here on out.

The forfeit elevates Sarah Hogan to the Sweet 16 automatically.
